FizzCounter is an offline household utility app for tracking sparkling-water CO₂ cylinder use, bottle logs, refill costs, weigh-ins and run-out estimates.

FizzCounter is developed and operated by MK Universal Solutions Ltd.

1. Summary

FizzCounter is designed to work locally on your device.

• No account is required.
• We do not collect personal data through the app.
• We do not sell personal data.
• The app does not use third-party analytics.
• The app does not contain adverts or advertising SDKs.
• The app does not use tracking technologies.
• Your FizzCounter data is stored locally on your device.
• Export and share actions only happen when you choose them.
• If iCloud Backup or Google/Android Backup is enabled on your device, your operating system may include FizzCounter app data in your normal device backup.

2. Data Stored On Your Device

FizzCounter stores app data locally on your device. This may include your cylinder settings, bottle logs, carbonation presets, bottle types, refill costs, weigh-ins, estimates, app preferences and backup-related data.

This information is used only to show your tracker, estimates, costs, history, settings and exports inside the app.

FizzCounter does not send this app data to MK Universal Solutions Ltd servers.

3. Data We Do Not Collect Through The App

FizzCounter does not collect or transmit the following through the app:

• your name;
• your email address;
• your phone number;
• your contacts;
• your location;
• your photos or videos;
• your microphone or camera data;
• advertising identifiers;
• analytics events;
• tracking data.

4. Exports, Sharing And Backups

FizzCounter can create CSV exports and JSON backup files when you choose to export them.

Sharing those files uses your device’s standard share sheet. You decide where the files go, for example to email, cloud storage, messaging apps or local file storage.

If you import a JSON backup, the selected file is read locally by the app so your FizzCounter data can be restored.

You are responsible for any files you export, share or store outside the app.

5. System Device Backup

FizzCounter does not provide live cloud sync.

If iCloud Backup, Google/Android Backup or another device backup service is enabled on your device, your operating system may include FizzCounter’s local app data in your normal device backup.

This is controlled by your device, operating system and platform account settings.

FizzCounter does not use CloudKit, iCloud Documents sync, Google Drive API, Firebase, a backend server or developer-accessible cloud storage for your app data.

6. App Store And Google Play

If you download FizzCounter through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the relevant platform provider may process information connected with your download, purchase history, device, account, store listing interaction or app installation.

That platform processing is controlled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies and account settings. FizzCounter does not control those platform systems.

7. Permissions

FizzCounter does not request access to your:

• camera;
• contacts;
• location;
• microphone;
• photo library;
• tracking permission.

8. Advertising, Analytics And Tracking

FizzCounter does not contain adverts.

FizzCounter does not use advertising SDKs.

FizzCounter does not use third-party analytics SDKs.

FizzCounter does not use tracking technologies.

9. Deleting Your App Data

You can reset all FizzCounter app data from Settings inside the app.

Deleting the app may delete local FizzCounter data from your device unless your operating system restores it from a device backup.

We recommend exporting a JSON backup before deleting the app if you want to keep your FizzCounter data.

11. Legal Basis For Support Emails

Where you contact us by email, we may process your email address and message content on the basis of legitimate interests, namely responding to your enquiry, providing support and maintaining basic business records.

If your enquiry relates to a legal or regulatory matter, we may also process the information where necessary to comply with a legal obligation.

12. Retention Of Support Emails

We keep support and privacy-related emails only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, manage follow-up communication, maintain business records or comply with legal requirements.

FizzCounter app data stored locally on your device is controlled by you and remains on your device unless you reset it, delete the app, remove the data manually or restore it from a device backup.

13. Your Data Protection Rights

Under UK data protection law, you may have rights in relation to personal data we process about you, including the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, depending on the circumstances.

Because FizzCounter does not collect your app tracking data through a backend server, we normally cannot access, view, export or delete the local FizzCounter data stored on your device.

FizzCounter is a general household utility app and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the app.
