FizzCounter Support

FizzCounter is an offline household utility app for tracking sparkling-water CO₂ cylinder use, bottle logs, refill costs, weigh-ins and run-out estimates.

FizzCounter is developed and supported by MK Universal Solutions Ltd.

1. Getting Help

If you need help with FizzCounter, please contact us by email:

When contacting support, please include:

  • your device model;
  • your operating system version;
  • the FizzCounter app version, if known;
  • a short description of the issue;
  • screenshots, if they help explain the problem.

Please do not send passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information.

2. Common Checks

Before contacting support, you may wish to try the following:

  • Make sure you are using the latest version of FizzCounter.
  • Restart the app.
  • Check that your active cylinder has been started correctly.
  • Check that your bottle type and cylinder type are selected correctly.
  • Check that refill cost and cylinder settings are entered correctly.
  • If sound or vibration does not work in the Fizzing Assistant, check the Assistant sound and vibration switches in Settings.
  • If estimates seem inaccurate, add a cylinder weigh-in and review the calibration screen.
  • If you restored the app from a backup, check that your active cylinder and bottle log history are showing as expected.

3. Backups And Data

FizzCounter stores its app data locally on your device.

You can export a JSON backup from the app and import it again later. If you reinstall the app, you can import a FizzCounter JSON backup from the first setup screen before completing setup again.

You can also export CSV files when you want to review or keep a copy of your logs outside the app.

If iCloud Backup, Google/Android Backup or another device backup service is enabled on your device, your operating system may include FizzCounter app data in your normal device backup. This is controlled by your device, operating system and platform account settings.

FizzCounter does not provide live cloud sync.

4. Privacy

FizzCounter does not require an account, does not use adverts, does not use analytics, does not track you and does not send your app data to our servers.

5. App Store And Google Play

If you installed FizzCounter from the Apple App Store or Google Play, app downloads, purchases, refunds, platform account issues and store availability are handled by the relevant platform provider.

For problems with the app itself, please contact us by email and include the details listed above.

6. Independent App Notice

FizzCounter is an independent utility app. It can be used with selected SodaStream-compatible home sparkling-water setups, but it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by SodaStream or any sparkling water brand.

SodaStream is a trademark of its owner.
